    • Import error("no module named 'uiflow' ", ) displayed on the M5Stack

      Hello there,
      I am getting the following error = > ("no module named 'uiflow' ", ) when I try to download a program to the M5Stack.
      In the SETUP(generated automatically) there is the following:

      from m5stack import *
      from m5ui import *
      from uiflow import *

      Where are these modules expected to be ?
      Thank you in advance for your assistance.
      Best regards

      Nah... Simply doesn't work . Waiting the M5 support's suggestions. I don't have much hope though as they couldn't help before.

      Hello again, I tried again and indeed the firmware text didn't turn white. How long should I wait based on your experience ?
      Kind regards

      Hello there and thank you so much for your reply.
      It appears do have downloaded as the down arrow reverts to the inactive state.
      What I fail to understand is where this firmware is supposedly downloaded.
      The environment should be part enough to put the firmware file in the right place. Perhaps I am mistake in assuming that ?
      Do you know the name of the firmware file so I could try to locate it ?
      Also, if you have a working setup would you please be so kind as the show me how the directories and organized so I can see the location of the different files ?
      Thank you in advance for your assistance.
      Best regards
      Michel

    • Can't flash the M5stack FIRE

      I am sure this issue has been talked over many times, however I was never able to flash My M5stack FIRE. I can erase it but when I click on "burn", after selecting the UIflow-1.2.3, it tells me " you must 1st download this firmware before burn it " Didn't I do that by clicking the down arrow next to the selected firmware ? Is it an download directory issue ?
      Thank you for any help on this. Extremely frustrating to get such behavior nowadays...

    • RE: M5 burner not working on Macos X

      @ajb2k3 I am trying to flash the M5 Stack with the UI Flow IDE, not the web based one. This is taking a lot of time. Is there any possibility to contact M5 development directly ?

      @ajb2k3 and it's working ? On a Mac ? You didn't have issues to make it run properly ?

      @ajb2k3 You are referring to accessing the UI Flow web based correct ? I'm getting frustrated by the fact that the folks at M5 Stack can't point me in the right direction based on the symptoms I gave them.
      Let me ask you this, normally everything can be done from the UI Flow interface right ? By that I mean that no other app or programs are needed to flash the firmware or the user's application ?

      @ajb2k3 So if I am ever able to flash the firmware in the device a new API will be generated ?

      @alpine-lake Forgive my ignorance but could you please tell me what thew API key is ? I asked tech support but didn't get an answer. Is this a code to unlock the software in order to make sure it is used with their M5 products ? Since I could never connect to a WiFi I was never able to get that "key" before erasing the module out of frustration and in an attempt to flash it anew. could this explain that to doesn't work ? Thank you.

      @ajb2k3 Let me read it more in details and I will let you know. UI Flow is interesting and, if matured, would bring them more customers and happy customers. As far as I am concerned it should be a one point of entry to commission the M5 Stack and developing applications for it. Without having to tweak the computer's operating systems, look for files in various places and, above all, running into old examples no more relevant that wastes a lot of energy for newbies. I hope they will get there before people get bored and give up.
