M5Stack - AutoCAD Drawings

@kentinker Hi Ken,
Yes it seems to only allow photo/picture uploads..... Got a github page? I'm sure others would be keen to share your files.
-
I'll have to set a GitHub page up. Will advise once I get that done.
-
@kentinker Yes good idea.... I'd like to add them to mine too if thats cool..
-
@jimit Fine with me. Part of why I tried to post them here. I get a lot of help from various boards and like to provide a bit back when I can
-
@kentinker Thanks! I agree. Collaboration makes a huge difference...
-
@jimit Ok - see if I did the GitHub thing right :) The files are here: https://github.com/KenTinker/M5Stack---ACAD-Files
-
@kentinker Fast work ! Thanks.
I had to enter the location manually but I found the files and extracted them successfully.
The link didn't work.....
If you have time/can be bothered, I think the link will work if you change the location name by removing at least one of the dashes (-). Doesn't seem to cope with three. Two seemed OK.
-
@jimit Hmmm. I blame IE. That was how it copied from the explorer bar :)
-
@kentinker Sorry - to clarify my not very clear comments - I meant I think the link will work if you go into github and change the name from: https://github.com/KenTinker/M5Stack---ACAD-Files - to - https://github.com/KenTinker/M5Stack--ACAD-Files (with one less dash).
Doesn't worry me - they can be accessed manually... just in case you want to....
-
@kentinker That doesn't work either. I shouldn't have cursed IE. Looks like the issue may have been me adding in a '-' when I setup the GitHub repository. Couldn't figure out how to rename it, so I made a new one. Knock on wood this link works:
https://github.com/KenTinker/M5Stack-Prototype-ACAD-Files -
@jimit I figured that part out but not quite how to rename.
-
@jimit hope I didn't mess up your link. First time working with setting up my own things on GitHub. The revised link seems to work fine from here now:
-
@kentinker Excellent. Probs a good idea to have a nice working link for the future. No worries - didn't mess me up. Good luck with the github - so far so good. Its very useful and powerful once you get into it.
I will add your files up to my github later on.... thanks again.
