You should charge your battery to full. Do you tried to calibrate your sensor? Press and hold the right C key to start the machine, and release the key after hearing the "drip" sound. The sensor will enter the calibration setting, and keep the host horizontal and still. After 3 seconds, the sensor calibration is completed, and it will automatically enter the balance mode after the calibration is completed. If you found that Bala cannot keep balance during use, it can be solved by trying to calibrate the sensor.

  • Controlling the FACES II base by just connecting a serial cable ? Youtube

I don't think he means controlling the faces II base itself, I'm sure he means you can communicate with a module that uses serial comms mounted on the base using a grove cable from a separate m5stack core (with a serial port or pins). The grove port on the m5stack will supply the power for the module on the base and serial tx/rx data will be transferred over the cable instead of directly over the internal M-BUS. Which is how it will usually work with a stack of modules under a m5stack core. I'm not sure if this "remote" serial cabled comms is actually very useful in the real world. Edit: I just realised that the faces finger board uses serial (uart), so you could put a fingerprint faces board on the faces base and communicate with it over blue port c using pins 16/17 from a separate m5stack core.

Hi @Happy-Hippo if you press the pogo pins do they spring back fully? or get lodged? usually there is a bit of a gap but it shouldn't affect normal operation

After 3 successive orders, the bases have all three a defect of connectivity. I think the heights of the pins of the contacts are not high enough and do not fit in the header. View the photo : [image: 1572778477632-img_20191103_114636-resized.jpg]

It's M5 who has to make the changes? If not, where can I find the drawing of the changes? I am a teacher in France who wants to use your products for science education computer and I want to find practical solutions. Thank you

I'd like to update my question on M5GO Base. From a more careful reading of the schematic diagram the Vout on the IP5306 of the M5GO Base is not connected to the +5V. In this case the IP5306 of the base has no conflict with the one inside the M5Stack Core.

Hi @Engin is the code you tried which didn't work https://github.com/m5stack/Bases-Node/tree/master/example/dht12 the only other code examples I could find for the node were in Chinese and Japanese, maybe if you use google translate you could find some useful info https://github.com/m5stack/esp-adf/blob/master/examples/get-started/M5Node/main/play_mp3_example.c Overview https://qiita.com/ksasao/items/25b8981e8ee9846e7f84 IR control example https://gist.github.com/ksasao/358ae9432322cd496d50ace9d69a7e85 http://watako-lab.com/2018/12/02/m5stack_irremocon/

@lukasmaximus said in BTC 2.0 not powering the basic M5Stack: @gadjet sorry this was definitely an issue with the description. The btc ticker is not capable of charging the m5 stack. I wouldn't mind but I bought two of them !!! Oh well back to my 3D printed stand and a big battery.
