@dpcons No problem. Enjoy !
Hi. Have you tried the altium2kicad script ?
I haven't but there is a discussion here:
While not ideal, an alternative option may be to setup another wifi router on the network and set it up without the space in the SSID.
Mhh I think I finally got it working.
I was using WifiMulti.h and it seems there was the problem. Something with TLS handshake.
I swaped to Wifi.h and now seems to work.
I have uninstalled the previous setup, deleted all files and redeployed everything using guide at https://github.com/m5stack/M5Stack/blob/master/docs/arduino-ide/windows.md
This time I can properly see the M5Stack-Core-ESP32 board on the list.
Thank you for the help.
Is there any way we can request an update of the http://www.m5stack.com/assets/docs/index.html to avoid confusion in the future?
Maybe also in your case also this workaround helps during using VMware.
I've the same problem using Windows 10 - all examples produce error message like the one in the first post

hi, you can reference https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/blob/master/docs/arduino-ide/debian_ubuntu.md
and delete the borad manager version.
Thanks for the fix! However, I tried to compile the Hello example with errors in Arduino IDE. Please take a look at the logs below:
Arduino:1.8.4 (Mac OS X), 开发板："M5Stack-Core-ESP32, 80MHz, 921600, None"
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
exit status 1
为开发板 M5Stack-Core-ESP32 编译时出错。
I received this error too, I reinstalled a fresh version of all requirements (from thdirections linked) at least 4 times last night and could not get it working.
I ended up having to install platform IO which I do not understand, but at least I got it working!
hi, you can update the latest library https://github.com/m5stack/M5Stack.git
use the M5.powerOFF(); software way to turn off.
