2023 December Community Challenge.
-
It's that time of the year again where I start thinking about the end of year December #M5Stack Community Challenge. Thinking of something that can be done by everyone and the only thing I can think of is environmental sensing both inside the home and outside the home.
I'm in talks with M5Stack so that this year M5Stack will sponsor it instead of running their own end of year giveaway.
Lets here your thoughts and ideas.

Hi there, why not trying to get a iot sensing device working together with a 3d printer to get sense of all vibrations in order to cancel out any disturbances..Maybe a long shot

@ajb2k3 I have another idea:
getting a stick C / remote function to work like an oscilloscope that send data to your smartphone. I am pretty confident this is possible. although I do not have the skills to program this... and making the file available to all as a m5files...
Best reg.I thought also we can organise a sort of job market plce for people to propose some jobs and to pay for the service inside the community.... I think I would be ready to pay for receiving a ready to use imu datalogger. stick C plus. or for the M5 file for it. By buying a or severalm5stack unit for instance for that purpose.

@ajb2k3 another Idea: having a simple retrolighted button to create a music groove box sub unit (orbuildingblock for this but diy:
https://novationmusic.com/categories/samplers-grooveboxes). that one can connect to others in one single row or several rows button. so meaning we need also a lateral connectivity. I can think of different way to enable that. not only 1D connectivity like we have between a stick C and

@dr_froggy_rd I have an idea to get a program for usb otg webcam for core S3
-
I am not sure if you are serious or trolling me
-
@dr_froggy_rd no, i'm serious. New to this first leap into the ESP32 and such. Ordered the M5 CORE S3 to connect a usb camera to. Have no clue where to start XD

@trini-cobra I know the feeling- I want to do something simple but I cannot get it working. I was able to upload the firmware after two weeks with the aid of ajb2k3. and because they updated the burner and uiflow
but then I could start playing with the background colour of the lcd -
@trini-cobra you want to get a camera feed to check from away like a domotic home security?

@dr_froggy_rd indeed , as well as just as a simple live display that's built in that a usb endoscope or usb webcam can plug into without having to use a phone depending. Or adding an external display
