Re: Speaker.Volume on Core2 Hi on the Core there is GPIO 25 for speaker out and there is nothing equivalent on Core2? The closest is GPIO2 as far as I can tell from the schematics but the output is terrible. Is there a software fix that can be implemented or is it a Hardware issue? Just wondering what would happen if I removed the amplifier chip from the Core2 board would that improve GPIO2?

@hoodlem Hi there! Core2 uses I2S digital power amplifier chip, which is different from Core1

@m5stack_ag I know it uses an amplifier chip but what is the point of a speaker if you have no option to adjust sound? It makes people want to use an external option but there is no option it’s actually a downgrade from the original Core.

Look at the M5Unified Speaker example it has full volume and tone control and runs on the Core2
