Disable Powersaving

I am building a Camera Timer for Astrophotgraphy based on a Core Fire. When the timer starts it sets the display to Level 10, closes the shutter and blinks a LED from the base. Button A can then be used to shut the display off. The problem is the fire shuts down after about 34 seconds because of its power savings. How can I shut off the power saving to let the timer running even if the display is off? The whole program is made with UIFlow, Firmware 1.6.4
