        @kosterok Hi, I am SHIO,

        M5StickC uses the FTDI's USB to Serial converter chip.
        It is usually no need to install a driver.

        Which OS (and version, distribution) do you use?

        Thank you.

            Delete the driver and reconnect the board. Give it a few minutes and the proper driver should load and recognize your board.

                Please check it again.

                That stop work problem is not hardware problem.
                Old version factory firmware have this problem.
                Please try to burn new FactoryTest example with Arduino IDE.
                (you need to install M5StickC library)

                thank you.

                  Hi
                  This is the error on software, LCD driver programmed inappropriately. This problem exist in the first batch of shipping. I apologize for our mistake. This is not the hardware problem, you can either rewrite the flash with the new factory test firmware which is available in our official Arduino repository, or with other code . For Arduino operation on stickC, you could follow the Tutorial video on official website.
                  Sorry again for your inconvenient.

                      The driver is already included in the factory test code, you need to setup the Arduino development firmware to upgrade to the newest
