MAJOR BUG ! Connect to device broke
-
@watson
The icon on the bottom of the screen used to connect UIFlow to a device is broken!
Currently it tries to download code instead of trying to connect to device! -
I don't know if this is the same thing, but UIFlow can no longer "see" any of my (several) m5stack devices. The green indicator is showing on the m5stack device screen [next to Flow.m5stack.com at the top] and it's definitely connected to the internet. But with the correct API key in http://flow.m5stack.com/ the device shows as disconnected :( So cannot upload any code etc.

@patmolloy
Thanks, glad its not just me. -
Ok this is a web browser bug not a UIFlow bug.
Empty out all of the browsers temp files and cookies and reset the browser and it should all work again.
-
@ajb2k3 [NOT FIXED!] Not the same for me. Different browsers tried. Mostly it is still returning device not connected. About 1 time out of 30 I press upload and it works (and I get connected). So there is some connectivity issue somewhere. Again the device looks fine and it definitely is connected to the Internet.

Have you tried resetting your internet explorer or trying a different web browser?
Something in M5Stack and UIFlows cookies was causing me issues. -
@ajb2k3 Yes, I tried other browsers, reboot and other m5stack devices - nothing works :\
-
I can confirm similar issues, just getting started for the first time. Green indicator on the device, "disconnected" status on the site. Multiple browsers, multiple operating systems, reset device.
-
I have just run a test from my end and I'm able to connect and program an M5stick and M5Go .
What firmware are you running @LastCaress and @se7enmilgram are you running on your devices?
Are you guys running the offline version or the version on flow.m5stack.com as the online version needs firmware 1.2.2 installed on your Sticks and stacks. -
You need to reset your web browsers and delete all saved data and cookies connected to M5Stack.com and uiflow.m5stack.com.
Also deactivate content and add blockers for the above two sites. -
@ajb2k3 I only first burned the device yesterday, so it's running 1.2.2. I have a core devkit v1.0, off of amazon.
This morning, I woke up and gave it another shot without resetting the m5stack in a new tab on my browser, and it just worked. I'm guessing whatever is going on here is on the server side, only because I didn't do anything differently.
