      HI

I am following the tutorial to make a m5stack and RFID connected to a faces bottom board to arm and disarm my home assistant alarm
when i connect the 2 via 3.3v gnd sda and scl with link wires it works fine, when i connect via the faces bottom the program on face boots but the cards dont get read, and dont show as attempted in the arduino serial debugger.
the m5stack and rfid must be talking as the code doesn't load if it cant see the rfid board.

      i followed this https://www.hackster.io/remco/m5stack-alarm-panel-with-rfid-mqtt-to-home-assistant-496e01

any ideas why this is happening?

make sure it a reliable connection. you could scan the I2C address to check the Face Bottom does the RFID be connected.
