Tate Rybarczyk is a remarkable athlete whose journey in volleyball began as an outside hitter at Avon Lake High School before she transitioned to libero. Throughout her four years as a varsity starter, she made a significant impact, setting and breaking all five defensive school records. Starting as a freshman in 2014, she set a new Passing/Reception mark with an impressive 94.8% success rate. By her senior year in 2017, she improved her serve reception to an outstanding 96.7%. Over her high school career (2014-2017), Tate maintained a serve reception average of 95.04% and recorded 395 digs in a single season. She also amassed a total of 1,259 career digs and set the record for digs in a match with an incredible 42 in 2017. Tate’s consistent performance and dedication solidified her as one of the top defensive players in her school’s history.
