Pay By Plate MA is the postpaid electronic toll billing system operated by MassDOT under the EZDriveMA program. Drivers without an E-ZPass transponder are billed automatically via license plate recognition and receive a mailed invoice containing a 13-digit number required to pay online, by phone, or in person.
