Are the M5stamp ESP32S3 headers provided in the package supposed to be soldered or they can be simply inserted and used as they are?

Thanks for the reply: the firmware that works is the Atom S3 UiFlow.
Strangely I can connect using upycraft but not with thonny.

Can somebody point me to the correct firmware to run Python on Atom S3 Lite?
