[Error] Get MAC failed in m5Burner
-
OS: MacOS 13.6.1
App: m5Burner Version 3.0.0 (3.0.0)
Product: M5 stack Core2 v1.1When I click "Start" Button, showing the message:
-
@surprise Have you installed the USB driver?
Are you using a good known to be working USBC Data cable ? -
I'm having the same error when I use the m5Burner. I did install the drivers, and when I use https://uiflow2.m5stack.com/ and hit run, I can see some log messages coming from the m5stickC plus2 when I press the button in the demo app, so the read operation seems to be working. But if I click burn in uiflow2.m5stack.com doesnt work either.
I also got this error message earlier:
new m5stack: Failed to write to target RAM (result was 01070000)I'm using Mac OS Monterrey (12.7.4 (21H1123)), Intel CPU
I've tried the installation of the drivers several times, without any luck getting the m5burner working.

@cchakons The error message you have implies that you have the wrong firmware selected for the stick Cplus2

Hey everyone!
I know this is old but if someone stubles across this like I did here's the fix...
I'm running MacOS Sequoia 15.2. To get rid of this error you have to do a couple of things:- Install xcode from the app store.
- VERY IMPORTANT Open xcode from your Applications menu and answer all of the questions (install the version for MacOS). If you don't do this xcode isn't installed even though you installed it from the app store.
- Download and install the appropriate driver. For most it's CP210x. I did a reboot after installation
- Download m5burner and install it.
This worked for me. I noticed the first time I did a burn it took a long time, but part of that is I was using UIFlow2.0 with all of the account binding stuff.
Hope this helps!
