Part 1 cloning the servo module uploaded

The servo module is unavailable at the moment and based on the schematic diagram, I have the components to clone it.
My problem is that I don't understand the firmware.
What code do I need to put on the Arduino?servo328.ino compiles cleanly and is programmed on to the uno but when connected to the M5 Core the core shows i2c connection error.
