Hi, I've been playing with a servo and my atom lite. Put the servo under a table to see if it could lift it, it couldn't so the movement didn't finish. No big deal, but after that, I couldn't get the atom to work again or to connect to my UIFlow. Is there a trick that I don't know of to connect it?

Also, when it's connected to USB on my PC, it is super hot though the LED is off. Hope it didn't fry :/ It also doesn't show up in UIFlow or M5Burner...

unfortunately it sounds like you may have killed the Atom.
If you wanted to try and lift a table you should have used one of the servo adding as the Atom can only supply a little bit of power and trying to lift a table drew way too much power.

@ajb2k3 thank you for your answer, I honestly doubted that I could kill the atom by draining too much power from it.
You mean that I should buy a servo driver in order to supply more juice? Thank you

@guillaume22 Yes, for tasks like what you were trying you should be using something like this: https://shop.m5stack.com/products/atom-motion-kit-with-motor-and-servo-driver-stm32f0?ref=pfpqkvphmgr

but this only powers servos up to 0.4A and so if the power draw of the servo is more, you will need to use a non M5Stack product for driving a servo.

Many thanks to you for all the advice! I was indeed using a servo way too powerful for the atom. My mistake, I've learnt something :)

              All the best to you
