LLM Module USB-C port & USB hub

I have the original LLM module (without the debug module), now EOL. I succesfully managed to power the board & read serial output, using a USB-TTL cable, so I can have the USB-C free to connect a usb hub (I want to connect both a webcam & a wifi dongle). Unfortunately this setup does not work for me. Can anyone think of a way to have access > 1 USB ports? Wish the LLM module itself or LLM Mate offered more USB ports
