Best way to power Core2 without battery
-
I want to use the Core2 module in a product and power it from 5V but not use the internal battery. I want the Core2 to be powered on and off when the main unit is powered on and off. Currently, I am powering the Core2 from the 30-pin connector (pin28=5V and pin 1,3,5=GND)and that seemed to work until recently when it will not power on anymore. The green LED flashes once but the Core2 does not power on. If I install the battery, the Core2 powers up fine.
What's the best way to power up the Core2 from external power, not using the p-pin external connectors?
Thank you.

Made no changes...

Supply power via the MBus on the under side of the core2
