IAAP CPACC Exam Structure
The exam covers four main areas:
- Accessibility Laws and Guidelines – This section tests your knowledge of legal regulations and guidelines related to accessibility, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, WCAG IAAP CPACC (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), and other national and international standards.
- Human Factors and Disabilities – This section evaluates your understanding of different types of disabilities (e.g., visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments) and how these affect access to digital content.
- Assistive Technologies – You will need to demonstrate familiarity with tools and technologies that assist people with disabilities, such as screen readers, voice recognition software, braille displays, and alternative input devices.
