@calin, finally figured out you were referring to the command line. Got the updates done but code would still not run on M5Stack. I just updated again and espressif 32 is now v1.02. Everything compiles but I can't test on my M5 until tonight.

RE: Battery issue
@admin I've given up on the bottom plate with the battery. Without it, the (2018) M5Stack works fine. As soon as I plug it in, the device shuts down unexpectedly, won't reset, won't run without USB power or simply won't power up and boot at all. Sometimes it works for a few minutes but that is the exception and not the rule. I really like the M5Stack but I won't be buying any more. I will try removing the battery from the bottom to see if that is the issue, which I suspect strongly. But then, without a working battery, the M5Stack looks is not so appealing.

RE: M5Stack MultiApp Firmware
@calin, I have seen code for doing a simple I2C sniffer/decoder and possibly one for OneWire. Those would be really useful next to a simple 4-channel logic analyzer with trigger set, sampling rate and small buffer. Suggestions!!! I'm working on it.

RE: M5Stack MultiApp Firmware
@Calin, I REALLY like this project. My M5Stack (2018) is not very happy with the bottom and battery so I will most likely keep it powered via USB most of the time. Having multiple tools available via the menu is fantastic. Some data logging to SD apps would be great, including the meter app. It would also be great to have a simple logic analyzer available. Thanks for your great work! I need to setup a VS environment now ;)

RE: M5Stack 2 Channel Oscilloscope
@calin 在 M5Stack 2 Channel Oscilloscope 中说:
he amplitude will be -0.65v to +0.65v (total 3.3v)
@calin, I think you meant the input signal range will be -1.65v to +1.65v (total 3.3v). :)

RE: Reset Capacitor
@m5stack, holding the button for programming works fine. Resetting is the issue with my unit. In some cases, even with the bottom plate off, the unit will not reset and run the downloaded firmware unless I let it sit a while. Other times it works fine.
