turning off the m5stick

  • new m5stick users here. great product with a lot of potential!

one thing i'm trying to figure out is: whats the best practice for keeping the device when not in use? do we simply let the battery drain until the 3.3V regulator (i assume there is one for the esp32) shuts off?

  • Double press the power button to switch it off.

  • thanks for the reply. but the m5stick (not the m5stack) only has a GPIO and reset connected as buttons, as far as i understand...

  • @johnty Reset is power off
Single press to reset, double press to power off.

It takes a bit of practice as sometimes it only reads one press and resets.

  • awesome. got it to work now. thanks again!
