I have been trying to add UNITS and HATs in UIFLOW online 1.7.2.

Atom Matrix and StickC

I have used the latest burner software to flash devices with firmware 1.7.2.

I am in the UK.

There is no + sign in UIFLOW 1.7.2 (online) to add UNITs and HATs.

Other users (don't know what country) have reported they can see the + button to add UNITs and HATs.

@world101 I'm using a Laptop (win10). Screen res is the highest possible at 1366x168. I went fullscreen to check it wasn't just really low down on the screen but that didn't help. Still no + button.

Had another go this morning. I even bothered to:1) connect via wifi 2)update m5burner software 3)try with another device (StickC).

Still no way you add UNITs and HATs.

Light Painting and Persistence-of-Vision (POV) seem to be slightly different things. I have found the Adafruit learn guides (https://learn.adafruit.com/ search POV) very interesting. They are suggesting you need to use DotStar LEDs with their 20Khz refresh rate (for POV), rather than Neopixel with a 400hz refresh rate (for light-painting). I have not yet made any light painting or POV equipment myself.

Thanks for the reply Luke. I stay away from Arduino if I can help it (even tho all the cool stuff is programmed in it). I've spent some time reading what IR is and how it works. I've managed to get the Fire module to recognize the PWM/IR signal from StickC. A quick look through the example you suggested confirmed that a duty cycle of 50% is needed when PWMing from StickC.

I'm trying to use the IR remote module with StickC and Fire. The example file of UIFlow for IR Remote will not work. Module will not find IR signal for TV remote or signal from another IR unit (stickc).

Has anyone had the IR functions working using UIFlow?

There's no mention of a battery. I'm guessing it doesn't have one. :-(

Which setting to connect New Atom Matrix in UIFlow? StickC or Core?

Thanks for replying, FIRE is connecting now. Stick C is proving a little tricky but I'll "stick" at it. lol
